RTS Wind Group appoint Alexandra Richards as Chief Commercial Officer
RTS Wind Group, an award-winning full-service provider to the global onshore and offshore wind energy sector, today announced the appointment of Alexandra Richards as Chief Commercial Officer.
Alexandra brings more than 14 years of commercial, legal and operational leadership experience across the global energy sector. She combines deep contractual and commercial expertise with hands-on operational delivery across offshore wind, subsea services and wider energy infrastructure.
She holds an LLM in Oil and Gas Law from the University of Aberdeen and has built a career spanning complex contract negotiation, tender strategy, claims management, performance optimisation and value-led commercial governance. Alexandra has consistently operated at the interface between commercial strategy and operational execution, driving disciplined risk management while enabling growth.
Prior to joining RTS Wind Group, Alexandra held senior O&M readiness roles with bp and JERA Nex bp, where she played a key role in shaping operating models, strengthening contractual frameworks and supporting data-driven asset operations. She previously held both Commercial Manager and Operations & Maintenance
Manager positions at Vattenfall, including full responsibility for safety and overall performance at Aberdeen Offshore Wind Farm.
